Veterans Services
Did you know that Nassau County has a Veterans Services Officer that provides services for Veterans, servicemembers, dependents and survivors? The Office is located within the Robert M. Foster Justice Center (Yulee Courthouse) and is lead by Veterans Services Officer, Bob Sullivan. The department serves approximately 9,000 Veterans and their families annually by providing free benefit claims counseling and referral assistance. They assist Veterans with a variety of other matters including obtaining verification of eligibility, filing notice of disagreements for denied DVA Veterans benefits, and assistance on Health Care eligibility, home loan programs, government life assistance and the Vocational Rehabilitation Program for Veterans with disabilities.
We appreciate Mr. Sullivan and all he does for Nassau County's Veterans and their families.
