9/9/21 @ 4:30 p.m. - For the August 2021 edition of our Proudly Serving Nassau series, we have featured our Senior Stormwater and Drainage Engineer, Katie Peay. Katie is the County's first engineer dedicated to reviewing the County's current drainage system and finding solutions to address drainage issues within the community. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer

8/3/21 @ 11:15 a.m. - For the July 2021 Proudly Serving Nassau Series, we highlighted our Assistant Facilities Director, Jeff Little. Jeff has worked for Nassau County in different capacities for nearly 33 years and is a great asset with a lot of knowledge about County operations. Watch this video and learn more about what makes him an outstanding employee. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 7/1/21 @ 4:20 p.m. - For the June 2021 Proudly Serving Nassau Series, we highlighted Animal Control Officer, Marty Pruitt. Marty has worked for the County since 2016 and is a great asset to the Animal Services Department. Watch the video to learn more about his duties and the wide range of responsibilities an ACO has. We appreciate everything Marty does for the animals and the residents of Nassau County. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 6/10/21 @ 5:00 p.m. - In late 2020, the County entered into an agreement with CGI Communications to produce a series of videos highlighting everything Nassau County has to offer residents, visitors, and business owners. Examples include area attractions, quality of life, economic development opportunities, and more!

Sherri has worked for the County since 2006 and has built a great relationship with many of the library patrons. Once of her biggest responsibilities is processing passport applications, a job which requires a special certification from the Department of State. Watch the video to learn more about her duties as a Library Assistant II. We appreciate everything Sherri does for the County government and the residents of Nassau County. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 5/20/21 @ 8:20 p.m. - In honor of Emergency Medical Service Week, we wanted to share two stories of local residents who were positively impacted by Nassau County Fire Rescue. Please take a moment to watch and if you see an emergency responder this week, tell them thank you! -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 3/31/21 @ 1:40 p.m. - For the March 2021 Proudly Serving Nassau Series, we highlighted Grants Specialist/SHIP Administrator, Carol Gilchrist. Carol administers a variety of grants on behalf of the County and oversees the County's SHIP Program which provides down payment and rehabilitation assistance for residents in need. We appreciate everything Carol does for the County government and the residents of Nassau County. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 2/26/21 @ 10:00 p.m. - Last month, we announced our new video series, Proudly Serving Nassau. This series highlights a different employee each month and their service to the County. This month, we are proud to introduce our MIS Technician, David Zambrano. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 2/1/212 @ 4:20 p.m.- This is the first video in our new series titled, "Service in Action". These videos will feature various activities and projects under the purview of the Board of County Commissioners. This video shows a recent Traffic Cabinet Wind Load test that Nassau County Engineering Services assisted the Florida Department of Transportation with. FDOT has been looking at placing traffic control cabinets onto risers in flood prone areas. The wind test was conducted to see how the cabinets would withstand wind speeds when placed onto the riser. -Sabrina Robertson Public Information Officer 1/20/21 @ 6:05 p.m. We are pleased to announce our new video series “Proudly Serving Nassau”.
