The Planning Department consists of 8 employees, including the Planning Director, and supports in delivering the strategic directives of the Board of County Commissioners and County Manager. The Planning Department staff are extremely visible within the community and serves as the lead professional staff in response to high-profile development proposals, planning initiatives and the formation of public policy as it relates to applicable subject areas.
