Shaun in our Parks Department is busy today at Yulee Ballpark, utilizing our new Ventrac tractor for renovating the Yulee Sports Complex football field with the Soil Cultivator and Primary Seeder attachments. In just under 2 working days, the field will be completely tilled, leveled, top dressed with high dose starter fertilizer and then re-seeded with new Bermuda grass. This process is our first attempt at a full renovation of a playing area, but will hopefully create a path forward to renovating fields during down times to create better playing areas for our youth sports organizations and citizens.
